Im a newbe with this script. So please advise me.

I dknt even know what that function is called.

You're looking for "captcha". You need to enable it in the admin section. If you have problems with people not being able to "see" the letters and numbers in the captcha under the current distro, post back, and I'll tell you how to fix it (this is one of those "wait to see if it's broke before you fix it" situations....)

Mine is still broke.. Always has been.. Apparently our GD install on our server is missing a key TTF section so it doesn't work.. And our admin guru is not thrilled about recompiling php and GD just for this feature :(

If you have a different fix I'd love to hear it..

Hi you! I don't think my fix will fix yours. It's a simple fix for the "non-viewability" of the current setup - I'm no dummy, and it generally takes me 4 or 5 tries with the current lib and php file.

Simple fix though - grab the RC4 distro from downloads, unpack, and copy the /libs/captcha folder into /libs/ in your current install, then copy captcha.php from the RC4 distro root folder, and overwrite the current install file of the same name in root. Provides a much "cleaner", more usable captcha situation..... (or if the RC4 distro is no longer available from here let me know, I'll load the files to webspace for download).
