Installing templates on v3.0.5

i would like to have the PepperMint or RealBlue template on my directory.
I have downloaded them, extracted them, and placed them on the 'templates' directory on the server.

When i try to select them they dont have any information about them on the template manager and when i load it it dosent work. I get a bunch of broken images and the font, colors, etc is all messed up.

I am using PHPLD 3.0.5

peppermint is available for 3.x This is a troublesome install to begin with.
An url would be appreciated.
