At this point we do not have a fully developed language file. We have a "base" setup for the next version, but for now it's a matter of hunting down everything and changing it.
Could you explain me once more the idea of this post- {thread no longer active}
And how did this guy made his directory in other lanuage http://www.surfguiden.se/
Thanks a lot

It sounds like what he did was create a new language file, and then point ot it in the template, and then track down a few of the words that were not contained in that file.
It means if I write in lang file for example the following line: Content visible to registered users only.
Title in submit form supposed to change to ASDFG? Is that correct?

I would say yes. Can you test this out and let me know if it worked?
(sorry, busy morning)
That is the problem. It doesn't work. And this really pisses me off :D
May this is working for somebody else?
What about that directory I send you before. What did he change to work everything properly?

Maybe try PMing him, and see what he did?
I do plan on working on this in the 3.0 version, but I'm not prepared to delve to deep right now. Have you tried Find and Replace (ex. in Dreamweaver). Just search for the words, and replace. That should not be do too difficult, right?

I have a dir in the Swedish language. I changed all the texts manually and it took some hours for me to find out that to be able to show the special characters you have to change this line:
Content visible to registered users only.
Located in include/config.php to the correct iso number.
That is the correct place, meta, index.php etc. etc. won't help.
When you have translated the template files don't forget this file:
/templates/admin/messages.tpl
That one also have to be translated.
That sounds like it should work, but...
Ok, lets try the other way. I need to change text in Add URL: Title, Description and so on. And actually I can't understand how does en.php file exactly work and should I change the text in submit.tpl or in en.php?! And if it's submit.tpl, then what for do we have the same lines like Content visible to registered users only. in en.php....
Yes! Finally it works! I still can't understand how does en.php file work, but at least I get what I needed.
Jim_Westergren 10x a lot.
