I have set the following parameters; enabled pagerank = yes, show pagerank = yes, and default page sorting = pagerank. But when you view the directory it says "N/A" for the page rank bar.

I was told this has something to do with the way my host has the settings on the server but his own website has a php link directory and the PR works on his site.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Scott

Is his own site on the same ip as yours?
Is it on the same server?
I suggest downloading one of the available mods and using it.

His site is on the same server, I have my own unique IP address. My host didn't need to download any mods for his to work..... I haven't gained access to the 3.0 forum yet although it's been requested and I've paid my $. I'm sure I'll be in there as soon as they have a chance to research and give me acess.

Off the top of my head then I would have say it may be the ip address being blocked by google. I don't see why unless you have used other scripts to do checks or searches on google?

No, I don't have any checks or searches on google for the site, it's a classified advertising site (as is my hosts website.) I'm really confused and I want to use the functionality of PR because I believe it will encourage websites with higher PR to register, giving me reciprical links. (my logic may be flawed however.)

How long have you had this IP ?

I know it seems like a ton of questions but if its the same server and he doesn't have any restrictions on your account that isn't on his it appears to be the ip.

What you can do is head on over to www.directoryspy.com and install his pr updater MOD and see how well that goes for you.

There is also an alternative around the MODs forum. Just search for it and you should come up with the results.

I switched hosts a couple months ago, that is when the IP would have been changed.
