Hi

I installed 2.1 version on my new host (Hosting Zoom).
According to Install Doc, I should change the permission to 777 and then 755. But even without changing the permission at first place, I was able to change the Config setting while installing.
The current file permissions are 644 but in my ACP I see the warning msg
Content visible to registered users only.
Certainly its coz of the setting at my host but I just want to ask, is there anything I should do to avoid this or just ignore this warning msg??? I mean I don’t want to have any security issue so want to know if its Ok.

Seems like your webserver is running under the same user as the owner of the files. Try to completely drop writing permissions, chmod to 444.
If your server configuration does not allow you to completely drop writing permissions, just ingnore that warning message.

BTW: 644 still means read+write perms for the file owner.

Was not able to drop permissions to 444 using FTP client. Have to go through CPanel. No warning msg now :)
