Hi,

Yahoo lists their links without the trailing slash.

{some older non existent urls have been removed from this post}

I wonder if anyone has a way around this?

This is a known issue for me.

Also sitemap generating softwares goes nuts on this.

Would appreciate if someone had a look on this.

Thanks.

Hi,

You can use Yahoo! Site Explorer (http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/) to check all your web pages indexed by Yahoo! Search. Also use it to view the most popular pages from your website and to find other web pages that link to your website.

That was an interesting problem.
I renamed Computers and Internet

{some older non existent urls have been removed from this post}
and it fixed it.

Hi David,

Try this link to Yahoo! Site Explorer and you will see that the trailing slash is truncated in each of the displayed results.

The second link points to
{some older non existent urls have been removed from this post} and when I follow that I see links to:

{some older non existent urls have been removed from this post}
but surely all these links should point to subdirectories of
/education/Geography/ -- they are not direct subdirectories of /education/.

Should you follow
{some older non existent urls have been removed from this post} you will see the Home Page displayed and URLs like
{some older non existent urls have been removed from this post} which does not correctly reflect the true directory hierarchy at all.
