what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

I just installed the directory. It didn't look like there were any problems but after the installation, I can't seem to access the control panel. It keeps sending me to the main directory page.

With no instructions, I am at a loss. Do I need to CHMOD any files or folders?

There is something wrong with the rewrite (and supporting code) in your install.
Try renaming .htaccess to something else for a while and see if that fixes the problem.

I've renamed .htaccess to htaccess.txt

I still can't get beyond the main directory page.

Any other ideas?
