Adding company logos?

Are you thinking of adding the ability to upload a small logo in addition to the text link? Just an idea .... I know a client who, if he wants the link script, will also ask for logo capabilities...

I think BarryB means that he wants each link in the directory to be able to have a logo as well as the link and description - some other directories offer this ability

For each link that's in the directory or for each directory category?

If it's for each link, I'm sure you could pay one of the developers to build this into your software.

I personally don't want to push the extra bandwidth for someone elses logo.

Now if you're wanting it for each directory category I suppose a simple script that

Takes the directory name
Checks a specific folder on the server for that name plus an image extension (jpg, gif, png)
If found then spits out the img html, otherwise just leave the name up top.

Yes, I have added this requested to the Big Wish List, and it may be implemented at some point. Definitely donations help us to get things done faster. We would probably need to write a script that changes the sizing so that images are consistent in size.

shouldnt be too hard to handle the resizing as most webservers use the GD library stuff anyway, eh?
