mod for blog accounts

Hi! is there a mod or way to make a directory with phpld have free blogs for users?
example: a user regiters for a blog on my directory and then gets a free simple blog space.

No, there is not such a mod available right now, though we are pretty close. You could create an editor that is allowed priviledges to a specific category, and then they could write articles in that category. The addition of articles is a new feature in the coming 3.2.0 and I'm sure what I'm saying will work at this point, but we are close.
