virtual categiries

Hello all,
I there a way to do a virtual category which includes a defined set of other categories?

Lets say I have:
widget A
widget 1, widget 2, widget 3widget B
widget 1, widget 2, widget 3now I need a virtual cat which includes all widget 1 subcats sorted by the cat and with the cat title. Like this

widget 1
widget A
content (links) of widget 1 from cat widget A
widget B
content (links) of widget 1 from cat widget B Any ideas if this is possible?
