Google Map Locations (Feature Request)

Hi,

I would like to built a direcory similar to blogmap.wordpress.de (http://blogmap.wordpress.de/). With the technology of Google or Yahoo maps (Both provide an API)

Everyone submits his coordinates and will be displayed on the map.

If anyone would provide a mod for php link directory, i would pay him, please contact me via pm.

One step further, it would be nice to have this feature also for the NewsTopica Product, where new Postings pop up on the map where its source is located...

I like this, it's something I've wanted to do for my personal site.

Someone else can step up if they want, as I can't test a lot since I'm gone but it's def something I want to do as well.
