Delete a Category

Maybe I am missung something or is there no way to delete a category If there is how do you do it ??

ALso put up a fresh install call link I changed it to dir after i aded a few link It seems like the folder name does not affect anything but the folder name is that right ??

I am transfering all my links from a script to the new one BUT after i delete the old one I wanted to change PHPLINK to the old ones name it seem to work BUT just asking to make sure

Go to yoursite.com/admin/dir_categs.php
and select the icon with red x next to the category you with to delete.

On admin/conf_settings.php?c=2&r=1 go down and select No for Enable Link ID. Most people don't use this.

I have deleted a category but it still shows up on the front end of the directory. Have tried CTRL + F5 to refresh the server but it still shows.

I notice that in the admin area it shows that it has been deleted but in PHPMyAdmin it shows that the category is quite cleary there and not deleted.

Please help.

Try to remove the content of temp/templates/ folder, then load the page again.

Nope. Makes no difference. Had to manually change Status in PHPMyAdmin - bit of a pain really.
