New Category, what URL to choose ?

I finally installed PHP LD with IE (Firefox didn't work. No idea why)
Now Ive got a really simple question.
When I add a new category I must enter an URL. I dont get that. What do I need an URL for ? If just enter some random URL it doesnt work.

Ok. With URL rewrite diabled it works. But I would to use with URL rewrite actually.

My htaccess was wrong. Now it works;)
