I did some searching through here and didn't find this issue but I imagine it's here somewhere, so I apologize ahead of time if this is a repeat.
I'm trying to add a link to my phplinkdirectory to another phplinkdirectory, however I have to place an id in the link on my site in order for the reciprocal link to validate, and the system doesn't like the id because it makes the url invalid.
Is there away to fix this?
Thanks for any help.

Maybe you should go into /admin/conf_settings.php?c=2&r=1 and check No for Enable ID. Few people like this feature, and I plan to make No the default in 3.0.

The problem is when I go to another phpld site it wants me to place something like this:
Seo friendly web directory (http://www.directoryinquestion.com)
But when I go to my directory to add the link to directoryinquestion.com (fictitious) is will not allow me to add "http://www.directoryinquestion.com" id="R20734F" because it is not a valid url, and since I can't add the id, directoryinquesiton cannot validate the url and so my link is not added to the other site.
I'm still not sure that's clear...basically another phpld site won't add my link because they can't see the id on my site, and I can't place the id on my site because it makes the url invalid.
Thanks,
Dan

Content visible to registered users only.
David. There still is no option to eliminate the validation ID in the Regional Directory software, and I cannot locate the 'Enable ID' section of the database using phpMyAdmin. Can you tell me where it is located so I can manually turn this feature off?
