I made some email templates for notification when a link has been submitted - accepted and or refused. They have on the side of the email template setup some predefined variables to use. Like this
from phpLinkDirectory configuration:
{MY_SITE_NAME} - Site Name
{MY_SITE_URL} - Site URL
{MY_SITE_DESC} - Site Description

from Send Email form:
{EMAIL_TITLE} - Site Name
{EMAIL_NAME} - Site Owner Name
{EMAIL_URL} - Link URL

from Send Email and Add Link form:
{EMAIL_TITLE} - Site Name
{EMAIL_NAME} - Site Owner Name
{EMAIL_URL} - Link URL
{EMAIL_DESCRIPTION} - Site Description
{EMAIL_ADD_RECIPROCAL_URL} - URL to enter reciprocal link
{EMAIL_LINK_URL}
************************************************** ********
I set my template up like so for link submitted:

TITLE: Link Submitted

SUBJECT: {EMAIL_URL} is pending approval.

BODY: {EMAIL_NAME}
Your link {EMAIL_URL} has been submitted and is pending approval.

Ok now when the email goes out it does now include any of the variables the email just prints out like above.

WHY IS THE VARIABLES NOT GETTING INTO THE EMAIL??????????

Help!

Hi,

The variables you can use can be found here...

(scroll down to the last post)

For the email notifications you would need to use {LINK_URL}, {LINK_TITLE} etc Also make sure you have the Template Type set to Link Own Notif.

Hope that helps.
:)
