Forgot admin login/password

I tried http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5439
and still could not get it to work. Any other ways I can reset it or just make a new username/password. This is for my admin control panel and I am actually using 3.0.

That post will work. Make sure what hash it is using though
in phpmyadmin the password will start with {sha1} or {md5}

after encrypting the new one from the page boby or david one posted insert it into the database making sure you leave the {sha1} or {md5}
