Confirmation of approved links not sent

Hello,

If in admin I go to Directory >> Validate Links

and then choose:

Set active if valid for both Inactive & Pending,

no email confirmation is being sent to the link submitter as opposed to manually accepting links, when the link confirmation seems to go out fine.

Also, when a link is rejected/deleted, the email "from" field is empty and comes up as "<Unknown Sender>".

Hi kavakava, you are correct. The link validation function is not designed to do mass-approval or mass-rejection, so no emails will be sent out from this function.

However, if I approve a link first, and then delete it, no email is sent to the link owner informing him of deletion - is this how it's supposed to work?

Hi kavakava, you are right again. Emails will only be sent out for the first action you took (either approve or delete). Subsequent actions will not trigger the emailer.
