Install on a windows server

I'm trying to install on a windows server. I don't understand change the permissions to 777. Is this a Unix thing? What would be the windows equivalent?

I've got it installed but when I try to run the setup program, the browser window remains blank. nothing happens.

Same if I try viewing any of the other pages.

Hi there,

Yes the chmod instructions are applicable to *NIX environment only. I'm not too sure of your problem, but for one thing, you will not be able to use the mod_rewrite feature, so please disable that. Try clearing your browser cache and relaunch your browser. Do you have an URL that we can see the directory?

What web server are you running?

I'd try checking the error log first off.

The hosting company is http://www.seekdotnet.com. They say they are set up for PHP, I believe they are using win2003.


See the directory: Yah I think I can turn that on. The site is http://www.frogengine.org/ right now I have the as default page a html page.
