Hey all, I was wondering if anyone out there has experimented with RSS feeds? Like enable them and let other webmasters use them for other web apps. Sort of like Amazon or the new Cafe Press affiliate programs? I also want to experiment with returning category and link data with RSS.

I would also like to experiment with importing RSS feeds that other web masters provide. Has anyone tried this?

I have a category in my directory that lists all the sites using the Article Dashboard article directory script (http://www.after5webdesign.com/directory/index.php?c=473). I also have a freeware windows program called Article Distributor (http://www.after5webdesign.com/software.html) that helps article authors quickly submit their articles to these sites. Anyhow, Article Distributor grabs the rss feed fom my directory and uses it for its submission list. The benefit of using the rss feed from my directory is that the software doesn't have to be updated just to add a new site to the submission list. In my not so humble opinion  , it is a great example of how technologies like a directory, an rss feed, and a windows program can be combined to make a very useful product.

If you write articles to help promote your site, you really should download a copy.
