Image Validation - to enable or not to enable ??

Hi !

I have a query. I have received feedback from some link submitters that it would be more convenient if the image validation was removed.

My question is for people who have removed the image validation...do you people feel that your directory is being spammed because you do not have image validation OR is it that the slight spam that you are getting is acceptable for providing a more convenient service for the legitimate link submitters OR there is no spamming and image validation should be removed?

All views for and against will be appreciated.

I have had it off the whole time and my directory has been going since august. I havent had any spamming problems and i have near 500 links.

It all depends, the domain I used it on already had traffic and after I installed it I started getting spammed. It kind of sucks, but I don't like the captcha and haven't re-enabled it as of yet.

I might soon if it doesn't slow down.
