I do have a question concerning the strange code in Claim Link Version2 I wanted to change the text that comes up but all there is jibberish characters.

Why is that so? It did not feel allright so I deleted the code on the details template and also the php files.

If there is a possibility to create your own text and the code in the php is readable I would like to give it antoher try.

This is needed to keep the mods free, unfortunately it seems that this is not respected by some directory owners.
The number of free mods will be reduced and a paid section is in the works with all mods available in open source.

*Directory LO-Fi version*
This mod will create a Lo-Fi version of your Directory
I already added a link on our Directory Home page ( top right)

A Lo-Fi version has many advantages.
It doubles your Directory in a very SEO friendly matter!
A Lo-Fi version is a stripped down version of your directory where all extras have been removed.
Visitors on your Lo-Fi Directory can either surf your Directory in the Lo-Fi Mode or switch to Full Mode at any given time By clicking on an *
All Categories and sub categories are shown with active links, title Description and Category Description.Creating a lot of relative text linked to your directory in full and Lo-Fi mode.

When clicking through to the links, a Lo-Fi links listing is shown http://wesece.com/lofi.php?c=129 limited to 50 links.(plenty to create content)
A "Full Version" link is visible linking to the detail page of That Site.
This means that in regards to SEO, that you created a lot of directory sites that contain mainly text!
These "text rich" link listings are linked to your Regular Detail Pages and therefor increases the visibility of your detail pages.

Now visitors can see on the submit page what coupon(s) is available and what the discounts are for that coupon.

Tell a Friend

There are two versions, a free version and one for LifeTime members only.

This mod will allow you to add a "tell a friend" page to your directory
Demo: just visit our directory and click on the "Tell a Friend" link. ( LifeTime members version )
The free version will allow visitors to send an email to up to 3 friends
The predefined email content is:
well, why don't you just use the tell a friend link on our directory...
when someone submitted the form, they are redirected to see the content of what was emailed!

The LifeTime Members version will send an email also to the submitter.
Another email is send to you, the directory owner with detailed information, like the date and time, ip address, personal message and email addresses.
Did I mention that with this version a personal message can be added to the predefined referring email content?
There is also a check feature build in to make sure email addresses are valid.

What is the promotional Mod?
This mod will show a directory link either on the Home Page or on any Selected category Page.
Directory link owners can make their site "premium" by paying a fee.
They can select for how long and the location of this upgrade.
If they choose The home page, then their link will be shown on the home page in the center and on Top of sites like "Top Hits, Latest Links, ..."
If they choose Category, they can select which category and their link will be shown at the top of the selected category Page
The terms available are any number of day's, weeks or even months.
With a separate price for days, weeks and months for the Home page and a separate price for a category Page.

First post updated with the save detail pages in pdf Mod.
Also added Score Image button Mod.

The Image button mod will place a button on your listed website that when clicked on direct the visitor to the website detail page, giving detailed information about the website.

The Score will also increase by 1.

Score is the total of all hits from your directory to the website and the hits coming from the website using the scroe image button.

Clicks on the score image button will only be counted once per hour per unique IP address and the button must be placed on the listed domain.

The button displays the domain name, The score, the date the site has been added to your directory and an text line that can be edited in your ACP.

Font sizes, font colors, position of the lines, image can all be set in the ACP.

This mod also comes with a site showing the top 20 score websites.

This is a new version of the free comments on detail pages mod.
with this V2, you allow comment posters to add their ads to their posts.

This mod has a full admin panel control so that comments need to be approved by admin of the directory
all comments can be edited and if an ad code has been supllied, a preview of the ad is also available to see if the ad code is correct.

It has been awhile, but here is another mod.

This mod has not been created to compete agains the thumbnailer mod from phpld, but more to have a different approach on how and when thumbnails are being created.

The Integrated thumbnailer mod V1.0 is for windows servers only with GD library and permission to run exe files.

This mod will create two thumbnails at the same time, one larger for your detail pages and a smaller for the links pages.

Thumbnails can be created in gif, jpg, png and bmp where png is to be preferred.

optional, a watermark on the larger thumbnail can be shown.

allow visitors to update a thumbnail when the look of their website changed instantly.

Possibility to create the thumbnails in ACP if so desired when approving links

Once created,Thumbnails are saved on your server so they can be called from the server to speed up page loads.

If no thumbnail has been created yet, a link to create the thumbnails is shown, otherwise a thumbnail is shown on the link page and a larger thumbnail is shown on the detail page with a link below to queque the current thumbnail.
if queque is requested, the existing thumbnails are automaticly deleted and new thumbnails are created.

it seems that visitors like this kind of interaction.

I have been using this now and have 100+ thumbnails per day created by visitors.

SEO Pages mod.

This mod will create new very SEO friendly pages from your listed sites,
categorized in the same way they are listed on your directory

This mod will extract all relative text from your listed websites
You also see the source code of the listed website, again containing valuable seo related content.
Meta tags from the listed website have been reproduced and inserted in the newly created seo pages header.
a detail page listed in /computers/software/
will create a seo page in /seotext/computers/software/

in ACP, you can create a txt and XML sitemap for the created seo pages and submit it to google and yahoo.

So if you ever wanted a sitemap for your detail pages, this mod might be an option.

I'm yellin at my server admin :) and i'm in negotiations with another company to see what they may offer me to switch to their server and help them pay the bills lol

the server now is set to take daily backups and send them to a separate server just for backups :D

PhpLD newbie here, and it seems to me like the Lo-Fi mod will result in two sets of pages with the very same content.

Are there any duplicate-content issues from using the Lo-Fi mod?

I'm really not the one to answer that question....but I wouldn't think so as the lofi version as wesece so put it

Lo-Fi has the category descriptions in it whereas the high-fi does not, it only has the category title
