I like very much your script it is seo friendly with static pages and a lot of features, BUT there are some missing important functions:
Adding categories takes a lot of time, why did not you include import from dmoz function OR add multiple categories at once? i think that in fact this is a very big problem! i want to add 10.000 categories do you imagine how long it will take to add them?
AND
When adding categories it is hard to find the category in list field, please change this, because big directories will not se your script if that will be present.
If you will have these functions your script will be the greatest one
