I guess selling links is a good one, but is there anyone using adsense directories ?

You can't make money via adsense in a directory (as far as I know). Submissions is going to be your meat-and-potatoes.

i use adsense and adbrite. as far as i know it's not against the rules to have them on a directory, so long as your directory doesn't break their TOS.

But unless you get a huge amount of traffic ads won't pay off much. Links are really your priority for money.

Been using contextual ads (various providers) on my directory for nearly 2 years and have had reasonable success with it, although not a millionaire yet. I registered with the providers as a directory, so it's not against their terms.
