Suggest Category Question

Can someone tell me, or show me the thread, so that I can get rid of the |__ characters in the category lists in the drop down boxes? I know I had found it someplace before, but cannot locate it now.

Another question. I did what the thread said, but now the subcategories are not indented at all.

I have fixed this on my first directory, but cannot figure it out for the second one.

I did this. I replaced:

Content visible to registered users only.

with:

Content visible to registered users only.

...maintains spaces, but removes |___ portion.
