Need help with version 2.9.0.2 installation

I'm having a hard time with the installation of ver. 2.9.0.2, I have followed two of the instruction sets, and cannot get to web based installation part. I have setup SQL database and updated the files for 777, my hosting account uses cpanel.

The site is acjsecurity.com, and when you go to it, it shows the apache is running. This is also a transfer of hosting from some one else, so at some point, I may want to transfer the database. Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

what version? and seeing the default cpanel page for your domain name is not a good thing at all.

Need more details.

2.9.0.2 is the version of PHP, I use hostgator for hosting.

nope cant be hostgator is at least 4.x or 5.x

lol well i guess it's hostgator cuz i tried for fun to see if avi2l had a php.info uploaded and got an error page.

Are you sure that that's the version of php or is that the MySQL or whatever DB they use? Most hosts are going to have php 4.x and up as well as i think it's MySQL 4.x i could be wrong there on the version.

As for the cpanel page, you need to upload your files to your ftp or file manager. replace the index.html with your own and that should go away. or remove the index.html and replace it with a index.php or whatever....
