A-Z Listings by Catagory?

Is there a way to mod the a-z listings mod so it diplays alphabetical listings per catagory?

So say I go in to the "Automotive" catagory and I've got a bunch of links. Is it possible to use this mod to view just the ones that begin with the letter A inside this one catagory?

If that's not very clear please let me know and I'll try and explain it better.

im not sure its possible inside a category other than using the alphabetical link sorting option (not exactly what your asking i know)

http://www.linkforever.net/pld_mods.php has an a-z listing mod like which you are asking but as far as i know its list a-z for every link not from specific categories.

I already baught and am using your mod currently for the A-Z Links and hey it works great!
I don't know if you have any idea on a quick way to mod your mod as I'm not a very advanced php user and you might have a better idea on where to start.

I'm sure there's a way to mod it to list alphabetically by catagory but I'm not sure how any ideas?
