Hi,
Unfortunately I've forgotten my admin user name and password. I've read through the threads, but it is basically Chinese too me.
So far, I've managed to get to phpmyadmin and pld_user, now I stumped and require some help.
Here's an image:

I would be very grateful for some step by step instructions how change my username and password.

on the same screen click on browse above, there u can see your "Login"
1. save the following as a file, fill the username, and the new password
2. upload it and call it from the browser
Done! ur new password is set!

I have also lost my password. Tried the php script it shows me a 'done' when I run it, but doesn't fix the problem??

Really, you just need to go into phpmyadmin and browse the user table.
I think in the above example, your new password will be new_password

I made the suggested php file, put it in the root folder, changed the user name and password to what I wanted. Ran it now I can't log in and am getting an error on the website: Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "../CORE_TEMPLATES/messages.tpl" in /home/integral/public_html/libs/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

Sounds like you are using version 3. Try searching on sha1 in the forum. You will find the answer. You (or someone) will definitely need access to phpmyadmin to reset the password.

Hi,
sorry i had email notifications off, so i didnt know we had responses on this thread !
i see some people haveing problems, and this is what the script does:
1. the username should be the Old username, to change the password,
this script does not change the username
2. type in the old username, and the NEW password, save it as change.php, and upload to root, .... where your directory script is,
call it from your browser!
thats it. lemme know if we have more problems!
NOTE: for security reasons be sure to delete this file as soon as your password is changed!
