PHP Email Help

I have a few questions about the e-mail function:

a. I have an e-mail configured like the following (type = Link owner notification):

Dear {EMAIL_NAME};
This email is to inform you that your site, {EMAIL_TITLE}, has been added to {MY_SITE_NAME}. Your link can be found at {EMAIL_LINK_URL}. If you are so inclined, we would appreciate a link back to our site using the following details:

- Site Name: {MY_SITE_NAME}
- Site URL: {MY_SITE_URL}
- Site Description: {MY_SITE_DESC}
- Site Location: {EMAIL_LINK_URL}

How do I get this e-mail to send? I have tried approving a link and nothing went.


2. In e-mail templates what do the different types stand for:
a. Email and add link
b. Link owner notification
c. Emailer

3. I am using SquirrelMail through my host. How do I configure e-mail in php handler to be set up for this?

I'm having the same problem. I'm not able to get php mailer to work. My hosting comapny is godaddy.

Same questions here as in the first post....hmmmm, but no reply to the fist post. I know it is busy but hopefully someone can point out the differences of the different email functions as asked in the first post. I searched but found nothing.

Help....i think this is a good program, but knowing how to use it would make it even better.

i having the same problem, i installed the latest phpld. and found this solution.

try to use this

{LINK_TITLE} - Site Name
{LINK_DESCRIPTION} - Site Description
{LINK_URL} - Site URL
{LINK_OWNER_NAME} - Site Owner Name
{LINK_OWNER_EMAIL} - Site Owner Email
{LINK_RECPR_URL} - Site Reciprocal URL
