Rate mod

hi all.
I have tryed to install the rate-links mod.i have the stars installed.
The rest of the install wont work maybe as ime a nooooby ime doing somet wrong.anyways i scraped it and gave up trying as i got fedup of seeing smarty-pants errors lol.
Can any one who has this mod and knows how to install it help.
I will pay if the price is right.
