Nice mod, thanks!
How will this handle those listings with no email? When I import RSS, there is no username or email addy imported. Just wondering if this will create any issues.
In the message field box, you have it set to display the folowing:
RE:
As you can see, this is an unknown address. the "/directory/" is missing per your site example, but even if I put "/directory/" after the .com it defaults to my homepage, so I'm not exactly sure what this is trying to refer to.
[update: I see that it's referring to a listing details page...something I don't have.]
I was poking around and couldn't locate where this is called.
I would also like to exclude the following messages that comes in the email.
Content visible to registered users only.I'd like to replace it with a simpler message like: You are being contacted thru your listing on [sitename] listed on this page [sitepage]
The message from a potential customer is listed below.
Can this be done fairly easily?

1. I fixed that one issue - message box is not populated.
2. Mod did not attempt to send email if no email address given for author. However, I revised mod so that you get same "no email address" message if you call the sub from square one - so surfer does not go through process only to find our later that no email address for listing.
3. You can edit the $mail->Body lines in email.php to edit the email message.
I see it must have been because of the listing details mod that you must have on your site that I do not.
Thanks for your response..it's appreciated.

You edit the email.php file before you upload to server. Did you do this?

Yes I did. But will try again..... I was looking at your instructions 'readme' they say
1. Upload email.php to same phpLD directory as other PHP files like index.php.
2. Edit email.tpl template file.
3. Upload email.tpl to phpLD templates directory.
4. Edit /templates/link.tpl by adding something like the following: :?
Would the easy way to advise me is to cut and paste the string where I put the e-mail address so that I can simply open up the email.tpl and email.php and find the line then put my mail address in?
Thanks

Whoops, my bad. Ignore my last email, got my mods confused. No need to edit email.php. Did you make changes to email.tpl by adding:
Content visible to registered users only.
That is all that is required to invoke mod - ID passed to email.php, which will then show form for surfer to complete to contact listing author.

Do I just stick that line in anywhere in the email.tpl?

That goes in the link.tpl template - anywhere you want the link to appear. Not email.tpl.
Update: Kevin installed wrong mod - he wanted this one:
{link no longer available}
(mod allows people to contact directory webmaster)

Content visible to registered users only.
Can you provide URL where I can see mod in action. Thanks.

Sure. Look at this: {404}. So the is is 12756. Now, if I access this: {404} and try to send a message, I get the error. Any clues? Thank you for this.

Issue in v3.00 of the mod with some earlier versions of phpLD. Resolved. Just download mod from phpLD_Vault, and replace existing mod PHP andf TPL files with new ones.
Blastom: I did this for you already.

The current site I am working on requires this MOD to do what the site is intended for, allowing users to request recipricol backlinks from one another. Is this currently working with PHPLD 3.2?
Thanks! I just purchased your Vault package Dan. Great Mod collection.
