Hi,
I have created a category http://www.a1webdirectory.org/Education/, but I get "The page cannot be found" if I click from homepage.
I have enabled "re-write URL" in the CP, and I am not sure what to do next?

I see you are running IIS.
Mod Rewrite is an Apache server function.
Any chance you can install on an Apache webserver?

Hi David,
I have created account with this IIS host without the knowledge of URL Rewrite functions.
Can I request for any facilities from my present host?
I read some free webhosting in your homepage, am I eligible for that?
Am I eligible to participate at "private Supporters Forum" since I have purchased "Version 3" and paid $10 to participate in forum?
Which is the homepage "private Supporters Forum" if I am on the wrong place?

I think that this is a problem of .htacess configuration

Content visible to registered users only.
That's possible, but mod rewrite is not on IIS.
(don't mean to be the bearer of bad news)

It is no problem with htaccess configuration.
IIS does not support mod_rewrite is a feature of apache.
There are a few work arounds to get a pseudo rewrite solution on IIS but it requires a lot of setup (admin permissions on the server for all but one)
and then you have to craft the URLs yourself.
In the long run it is just easier to get hosting with someone who utilizes apache instead of IIS
