Hi All,

I am just trying to get some feedback on the phpLD bid script, i just turned a former phpld directory to a bid directory, I want to know if anyone else is using the script and how well their directories are doing, as far as getting bids and dealing with submissions without bids. Thanks

It's still pretty new. I have seen approximately 15 so far, but with the free download, there are probably several more I don't know about.

Cool. David do you plan to open a support forum for phpLD bid script or will this all fall under v2.0 support?

I want to see how google views these directories on the next update. I'm still unsure of how they will be viewed. So before promoting a product like this and really developing it, I want to make sure it is worthwhile for phpLD users. There are certainly arguments on both sides, but in the end, it will be google that decides what they deem to be acceptable.

You can see v3.2 in action on my Unique Bid Portal (http://www.topurlsearch.com), I just started building links a few days ago so I am not sure if enough will be in place when G takes it's backlink snapshot (if they didn't already).

why would google deny it? I mean the only thing i could figure is a sort of "gambling" tag smacked to it, but it's not gambling lol there's no prize for bidding x amount of dollars on a link....

Matt Cutts said that he is okay with people paying for a "review" of a link, so bidding goes a little further than that.

I'm not saying don't try it. Just saying there is an unknown here.

Expected few more templates and I am surprised at this.

Hopefully we see few more in the coming days.

And about the bidding, on some sites the bid price is ridiculously high.

-- I have a bidding directory, what I see are people only bid for the top position, no one bid for Category level position.

-- Top one which is site wide is getting attention.
