Looks nice, but there's a few bugs to be fixed before this is ready for prime time:
1) The rss button doesn't show in this skin.
2) After installing, you can't login to the admin area. Instead, you get this error:
Content visible to registered users only.

Content visible to registered users only.
Works fine with me. The admin templates are not modified and hence the error has nothing to do with the skin. If you have backup of the admin template files, try re-uploading them.
Content visible to registered users only. I can see it on the top nav bar

Have u cleared the templates cache by deleting all files from /temp/templates ?

Content visible to registered users only.
No, I didn't realize that was necessary. I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Great template - thanks.
PM sent to gamecock to see if above recommendation resolved login issue.
I also received the same error message when trying to login to the admin
(Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "admin/login.tpl" in /home/username/public_html/libs/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1088).
Any additional advice appreciated.

Content visible to registered users only.
unable to read resource: "admin/login.tpl"
It seems like the login.tpl file located in yoursite.com/templates/admin/ is either missing or corrupt. My advice will be re-uploading the entire "admin" templates folder to fix this problem.
Hope this helps

SyncMaster - thanks for the recommendation. I re-loaded the admin files, but I still get the same error message.
Any other recommendations?

This is something unrelated to his template surely.
What is the url to your site?

Just a little update...
There were a few small bugs in the previous releases e.g.
1- The payment.tpl didn't quite work right. Kept getting a "required integer missing" error
2-The header.tpl had a bug with the logo. It links to the page you are currently on rather than back to the root domain page
Both these bugs are fixed in the latest releases. If you are using the previous version, you can download the latest release and replace header.tpl and payment.tpl with new ones or alternatively you can fix the bugs yourself as follows:
To fix the payment.tpl find this code about 10 lines from the bottom:
Content visible to registered users only.Change the "quantity2" to "quantity".
For the logo problem, edit your header.tpl file. Find this:
Content visible to registered users only.Change the href to point to your directory homepage and the src to point to the location of the logo image.
Thanks to PortProphecy for figuring it out

I am quite disappointed to see most of the people using these templates but not bothering to retain the link to my site. Many of them added a rel="nofollow" tag which is again very discouraging. I spent hours of time on designing and customizing these templates and they are still free for use but as per the terms of use a linkback to web-designers-directory.org is mandatory. If that’s what I had to get in return, it was better to sell the templates instead of making it free for use. Please DO NOT modify or remove the linkback if you intend to use these templates.

There will always be those crackheads that are out to take advantage of someone. Also, I see alot of people using PHPLD with no linkback. I think it is very disrespectful to use something someone worked hard on and gave it to you for FREE and not at least acknowledge where you got it.
Anyways I'm very happy with both PHPLD and your templates and am proudly linking to both. :D

Content visible to registered users only.
I agree with you 100%, there are people like me who have contributed a small fortune for a little help and feel as if I am betrayed then by people who think it is thier God given right to simple take other peoples work and not give credit to it! I'd swear if I was that way inclined and tell them what I really think!
I know how you guys feel. I have seen many people that dont even keep the link back to this site. Its a free script, its a GREAT one and people should keep the link. Your templates are better than any template design I have seen for any directory. Im using one on my site and I have the back link. Hopefully it will increase your PR and bring you some more traffic. ;)

Sell them then. You cant make someone do something.

Content visible to registered users only.I am not sure it’s a good idea to start charging for something that you released for free use. If they are free right now they will remain free for ever. However, any new templates I'll be making will not be free for sure.

Content visible to registered users only. As stated earlier, this has nothing to do with the Skin. Many people have installed it and they are using it without any problems.
Yea, thats not a skin related issue. Skin worked fine for me during install.

Hey guys,
awesome script and skin
If a question however. How would you add google Adsense or Yahoo Ads to:
1. the right of the search box
2. the right of the categories and link listings (because there is a huge white space there that is prime for ads)
I tried using some divs with align right but the whole layout just got distorted. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

SyncMaster, you've done a wonderful job. They both look beautiful :)
It's sad, a lot of people don't care about agreements. When you make more and charge for them though, wont the PHPLD staff get free copies? ;) Hehe
Good luck to you, again, great job.

hmm, i tried working on this a bit more (after i found out about the {literal} stuff), however i still cant get Ads to go directly to the right of the categories. If i get it to the right, it shifts down al the categories until the end of the Ad Box, which looks wierd.
i used a div align="right" for that, any ideas?

Post that section of code you are modifying here. I'm sure someone will be glad to give the answer. Without seeing the actual code you've written, it's tough to figure out what solution to recommend.

Love your templates, look at {non working urls removed}. Added some Adsense to it, but am still working on the right placement. Perhaps I'll get back with some questions.

I am using one of the templates on a site I am putting together and I will at no time remove the links in the footer, that **censored****censored****censored****censored**s just wrong. I am having a small issue though, the "home" link doesnt work on any page, just reloads the page you are on at the time. I am currently searching the script to find the problem and may have found it by the time someone posts an answer but if anyone has a suggestion please tell me.
