category selection

I have come across this software out on the web before. What I really don't like about it is the catagory selection you must do to submit a link to a directory.

Is there any othe way to display to catagories available to have a link sumbited to. That drop down thing is far to long.

There is an ajax submission and then there is set category where they have to go to the category they want to submit to.

I am considering buying the software to use on my site for a search index, like Yahoo. This was the best software I could find for that, but I am not done looking yet.

I will buy a license if it is possible to allow people to bid on keywords within my directory(index)
