I was just wondering if you had an ETA on v3.0?

Thanks!

The first thing you will see happen is it will be possible to purchase access to the latest "dev version" which should include more than 50% of what you see on www.phpld.com

I intend to have this up and running by Feb 1.

I think we will still need a little more time beyond Feb 1 to call it official. And keep in mind, even after it is complete, it will be best that we have some people who have tested it and figured out the bugs before we make a general public release.

While waiting for PHPLD v3.0 I tried WSNLINKS directory script and it was too slow.
I need something with features that WSNLINKS have but not so so darn slow after adding only 100 categories and about 600 links. Therefore, pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase hurry with PHPLD v 3.0

I fully intend to have the dev version (which should not be buggy, fully functional, at least not any buggier than what we have now) about Feb 1.

Thanks,
David

Content visible to registered users only.

Purchase access is a great idea especially when it comes to freeloaders. I hope you consider offering some sort of discount to the donators ... possibly even offering a pre-access or free access (as a thank you) to those willing to donate before the "dev version" is released! Just an idea.

I'm going to do everything possible to have something ready around Feb 1. I think at least half of the goals listed at www.phpld.com will be fully integrated by then, and likely a couple of nice surprises that I won't mention quite yet.

The idea is that we will have a pretty nice release on Feb 1. Then people will spend the $25 to get it. And then using the money received we will arrive quickly with a "3.1". There will be a number of releases after 3.0 as we apply the funds we receive to make it even better.
