secret code not displayed

I'm having a problem on a fresh install, the capcha picture is not displayed.

Anyone faced this issue ?

Do i need anything special installed on the server ?

Yes, this means that your hosting setup does not have the required components in the GD library (Free Type). I can tell you that 3.0 offers greater compatability, and we are working as fast as we can to get it done.

for people who face the problem:
To install GD on redhat:
In WHM go in Update apache then check the GD box ( doesn't work all the time apparently, i had to use easyapache instead )

telnet in your server
/script/easyapache
then select option 4
