url rewrite not working

When i turn the friendly url option on, i get the error:

The requested URL /home/mysite/public_html/sites/index.php was not found on this server.


I tried reuploading the .htaccess, but not luck.

Any ideas ?

That's weird, can I get FTP access to the PHPLD folder? It would allow me to debug your issue.

Did you FTP upload it as ASCII into the same folder as index.php? FTP Binary will can cause probs ...

I just uploaded, didn't check if it was ascii or not :oops:

my directory is
{was redirecting to homepage - link removed}

Since i'm going to buy version3 i'll just wait, for now i'm just learning, playing around with version 2.

I have also the problem!
I activated Enable URL rewrite and no site can be reached!
{seems to no longer be running phpLD}

Check with your host to see if they have PHPsuexc installed. If they do then mod_rewrite from an .htaccess file will not work. PHPsuexc is used for security reasons and it really messes up script features. I have had to move from two hosts because of PHPsuexc.
