VerySlow with phpLD2 so what about phpLD3 ?

When u have like 1000 Category it is very slow for people to add their link

Example

Check Submit and see how slow it is.. can't be like Dmoz :roll:

We'll be only showing the category they submitted to, not the entire list (in the drop down), so that solves that problem.

If I were you I'd wait for version 3.0 its going to be awesome, I've seen some of the features at work and they are superfast so don't worry if you have a million categories, this has been tested running an infinite number, well 67,000 to be precise! :wink:

Its not! 8) Your script is going through a bashing David, and so far its working well even on a mini cluster. mySQL must have known you were coming as they have just come out with a delightful version 5 which makes this script :arrow: :shock:

Well i start with this and when phpLD3 Release i upgrade .. or there is not going to be upgrade script ? :roll:

I think a lot will be clearer when I release around Feb. 1.
Most likely:
1) access to latest release
2) how to upgrade
3) making mods compatable
So there will be a sort of "evolution" that occurs after Feb. 1, as we help people that are wanting to upgrade. I'm fairly confident that it can be done in 15 minutes on an unmodded version, but don't quote me on that quite yet. :)
