Question about duplicate url submissions

Hi !

I dont know if this is a bug or the script is set up this way? when a duplicate url is submittted in the same category, it is intercepted and the script seems to be working. But when the category is different, the script allows the url...?? Is this how it is supposed to be ? If yes, how do I also intercept duplicate url submissions in different categories. Essentially I would like to limit submissions to one url per website directorywide and not just limited to category.

Have you disabled {Multiple Submissions} via:

phpLD Admin > System > Edit Settings > Link Submit

I have noticed this too. I still get a few submissions that I know I've already added to the directory. And multiple submit is set to "No."

Doesn't seem right. Perhaps David or one of the developers can respond if bug or not - and if so, will it be stamped out v3.0. Have you tried searching the forum to see if there are any fixes offered. I'd look into it, but pretty swamped.

I get the same too.Now mine is up to about 1200 links it is a bit of a pain.
I have found a way to check although it is a bit longwinded.Whan I get a new link I just click edit in admin then save.Only then will it tell me the link already exsists.
