help with improving phpld 3.2 performance

My web directory is running too slow after i have install mods from directoryshare.com;please suggest how to improve performance.

I've seen some lightning fast directories after we applied the query cache feature (even to heavily modded directories). If you are a member of the supporters forum, there is a thread about this. Other than that, I would recommend you remove a mod or two and try to determine which mod is causing the problem. This new cache feature is still expermental.

there are no instructions on how to do it yet. I am doing for people on a case by case basis. If interested pm me.
Just did one yesterday on hostgator.
