Don't know how people can say that don't have credit cards and stuff myself  How did you buy the domain name and webhost service?
Come on everyone, all I see is lame excuses why you can't pay for people's hard work. I for one can't wait until the owners of this brill site set up a section on this site that stops people from making excuses like this. Nothing in this world is free! If you haven't got any money, why not post your template design for users on this site as it really is quite a nice site. I'd take away the sponsor reference though of having lots of links as you only have a 190 or so :?
Please support this forum and donate, it is only fair :(

Im glad you gave a good account of yourself Vegabond.
In most countries credit cards are an elitist luxury. Those fortunate enough seem to take it for granted as you have seen here.
You came back and offered an alternative for your appreciation, regardless of your limitations. I think that's fair enough.

Bit much, but thanks for the generous offer! How about this, listed with other partner sites at the bottom of page.

Sorry, what I meant is that you list our site along aside your other partner sites on your site - not on the partner sites =) What you can do is to list your site in our directory, and then post our reciprocal link along aside your partner links.

Dan. I tried it on one of my directory sites and here are the results:
{old non working link removed}
It just lists them one after the other with no pagination at all. I didn't do your search engine friendly mod so perhaps that is the reason?

My bad, I believe I have to edit the readme file to mention that you need to add the following to main.tpl template file (anywhere you want the navigation bar to appear)
Content visible to registered users only.

Hi Dan,
What i was trying to say was i have no pagination at all... All the results appear on one huge page...
At first glance, i suppose the code was wrong but it seems i have something wrong...
I modified the script a lot, but not sure if thats the reason...
Querying domain.com/gosearch.php?s=P&q=keyword does not work either...
I would really appreciate if you could help...

I think I know the problem as another user had same issue until I FTP to his server to play around with gosearch.php. In gosearch.php, change (around line 53):
Content visible to registered users only.
to:
Content visible to registered users only.

Is it possible to modify the script so that it will search for the phrase first and if it cant find any results, seperate the phrase into keywords and search for them...
Like,
search : "web directory"
if not found
search : "web" or "directory"

I don't mean to be rude so first I'll apologise for a late response to this. The gesture by the original poster vegabond has to be commended as he did not have to do so. However, I cannot not will not accept your comment that Content visible to registered users only. What planet are you on? I am very fortunate to have a fairly large Company and have an awful lot of dealings with India as I exploit their very good programmers and extremely cheap costs, I know its bad of me but I'm a capatilist; what can I say! My point could have been expanded on by showing you this... It's where the domain vegabond bought registered it and how he had to pay for it...

The moral here is that if a person can pay for one thing by a method acceptable to other sites then there is no reason. I've been in this game for a long time and seen it all so felt justfied in my comments and still do, however, it is Davids site and if he is happy with the situation then so am I.
But Please, don't give me the rubbish 'Us' and 'Them' sob story! Good for you Vegabond for giving the links to the both, this is more than others have done

I downloaded v2 to see if I could make a decision about purchasing v3. It seems like a good option for some of our clients.
However, each time I've visited this forum, there are two of you 'special' people who don't really know how to act out in public. I can only assume you lurk around the v3 forum also and interject your bits of wisdom.
The two of you are quickly becoming a deciding factor for me. The product is nice and it sounds like the new version has many more features. If I decide against v3 it will probably be because of people like you, not the product.
