I will probably put it to the test over the weekend, but just few questions and suggestions first:

1) is the price for link removal $25?
2) it would be great if there would be a separate page for each listing, i have seen that in some other directories as well, so that next to each link, there is another one for more details about this item/listing
3) is there some easy way to import a ready directory structure, like from DMOZ, or anywhere else. I don't want to duplicate anything exactly, but it would be a good starting base for creating own structure. or perhaps even csv or similar import, so that one could create it in excel quickly and just import from csv, though I understand that would be an overkill as this is just a one-time operation

Welcome, seothatworks! :)

1) We are not "charging" anything, BUT keep in mind that we work hard to bring you this open source product. In our mind, the least you could do is make a donation. Lastly, if you are going to remove AND not make a donation, please don't ask for support, as our first priority is helping the people that have been kind to help us bring you this script.
2) We will be implementing this as an option in the near future.
3) We could certainly help you to do that

Thanks for answers and good news, David.

That didn't even cross my mind. I think I have read in some old thread that it was $25 or so in the past, but thought I will rather ask for new policy instead of searching for the old one. I am all for the support, and you deserve it, the only thing is that at some point of the development of the directory, it might be better not to have the sitewide link, and if I would be at that point of development, I would be certainly prepared to pay for that if possible.

One more thing, I am wondering how people with large (many categories) directory do with the submission form. The tree is nice but IMHO if you get many cats, people will have problems scrolling down and finding their own. I would prefer the classic solution, ie. people browsing to the correct category and submitting from there, so that the cat name gets noted and no tree is needed. Another plus of that solution would be that in the process of browsing, some of them also like to click the Adsense or other ads :). Though that's not my point, but some people might like it more because of that.

Greetings,
Tom

The category the user is currently browsing is selected by default, when submiting links.

I must have missed that future. Great! Thank you.
