List 5 random featured links on front page

I bought a newest version one week ago. I read some posts about how to list 5 random featured links on front page but they are in different versions. In fact, there is not yet a post for this on the latest paid version. Can you please show me how to do that? I already tried two posts and it never worked on my site.

most little mods like this will work with any version...there may be a few things different...and even from same version it may differ with different templates...just look for the general info they want you to replace, and match it up the best you can with what you have :)

if you need help I am free for a bit tonight, otherwise i'm not sure when i'll get some time to do it...

yeah I'd go with Dawzz he knows better then I do, but most of your common mods i've installed so many times it's 2nd nature lol + on cable modem so doesn't take me very long :D
