Featured links not showing

Hi there!
I have a 2.1.2 version directories (2) www.jrsdirectory.com and dir.detoam-host.net. both use the same template (Clean green). I had no idea until recently that the featured links are not showing up at all. They show in the database and can be seen as listed in the back end, but the customers cannot find them and neither can I. Can someone help me? I don't want to get a bad reputation especially because I have to sell one of those directories.

open main.tpl and make sure that you have the featured listing code in there....
default will be:
Content visible to registered users only.
depending on the template and most templates now use a seperate file for the featured links look to make sure you upload all the files in main.tpl find something like {include file="f.link.tpl"} or something simular and then make sure that the file has actually been uploaded to your site and has the correct permissions on it...

i forget what template reasontly i saw, but they had the code in main.tpl but they had it commented out, so it could be there you'll just need to remove the /* before it and the */ after it

My files are similar to that too and all files and folders were downloaded and double checked but...
I have a box on all my featured links with "Preview not available"

Preview not available" is nothing to do with the script ............ add a domain such as phplinkdirectory and you will see a thumbnail. Chances are the sites you are adding are too new to have them?..
