How to search a Link i admin panel ??

Hi freaks,

Now, I am having more than 100 links in my directory and how can i find a specific link in which category... is there any search options in the admin panel to find the links... and I tried to search in my public directory and i could find the link, but i cant find that link in which category...

This is feature that will be available in the next release probably of phpLD 3.

As Boby explained, this feature will be made available in the next upgrade, to V3 users first I hope :wink: But he never answered your question as to how to search. You are lucky you only have a few links in your site 100 or so? Simply click on links in admin and you have to go through the mundane task of looking manually. You will find that the search in admin is almost a unique feature in ANY directory script and this is one of the reasons why we need to be funded here.

For 2.0 you can sort the links by clicking on title when looking at all the links. This will sort them in alphabetical order, which is the fastest way to find the link your looking for.

Interesting, I am using another script directory for my another site and they have this feature in the admin panel to search the links and its FREE !!! I dont like to show that script here... because I dont want guide others to switch over to other script, while I love phplinkdirectory script and hope to see the feature in the next version... thank you... :)

Yes, we will get it integrated soon.

What we will start doing at a later date is releasing older versions of 3.0 to the general public. Right now, the only way to get the newest features is by supporting the cause. We are already making some wonderful progress as a result. Hopefully, you will want to join us. We really are trying very hard to bring you the best directory software.
