View Full Version : Any sites using phpld3 yet?

Does anyone have a phpld3 directory up anywhere so we can see a demo of it? Also, will there eventually be an admin demo on the site?

http://daviefla.biz is switched over to Version 3 now. There is no visible difference yet between the looks or features of either software. The only thing I see so far is Google Sitemaps feature. Hopefully, there is more to come.

There are a lot more features implemented in phpLD 3.
The most important are the improved captcha, language file support, banlist, and there were other fixes too.
We are now working on a maintenance section for the admin area, have allready an improved sitemap feature and added Yahoo sitemaps. There are other items too, you just have to discover them when it's released ... soon :)

I haven't seen the yahoo sitemaps feature? Is it an extra mod or is it supposed to be in the V3 as your post above suggests?

Yes, it was actually going to be released on Feb. 1, but we did not have enough time.

Unadir.com, in my sig, is now 3.0. Notice the improved captcha on the submit page. I also have been adding alot of problem domains to the new ban list feature. Just to have these two added features were enough for me to happily pay for the upgrade. I am happy with things so far. Will work on switching a couple other directories over to 3.0 in the next couple days.

Im going to be updating my site within the next few weeks. 3.0 is looking very good. :)

How come there's no "detailed pages option" (you know, a seperate page for each link)

That's really the only extra I need from PHPLD.

I need to know how to upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0

Hi, we are almost finished with this. Take a look at NewsTopica demo here:

You can see we have the More Info links there. By around Monday or Tuesday, we will complete the addition of Mod Rewrite with the detail pages and then port it over to phpLD 3.0.
