The text a message mod allows visitors to your phpL Directory to send free text messages or SMS.
The Mod is running on the wesece Directory, a phpLD Version 3.1
The Mod is available for versions 3.XX and 2.XX
The main difference between the versions is that on version3.XX logged in users will have their first and last name pre-filled in the first and last name fields.
For the first name field, you will have to add a first name field to your database.
Here is how the text a message mod will help your phpL Directory get more traffic:
* offering a free service always attracts new and returning visitors.
* all receivers of a text message send from your Directory will have an ending line in the messageas followed " free text messaging: www.yourdomain.com (http://www.yourdomain.com/)"
* increase the value of your banner ads if using the sponsored banner mod, this is when someone send a message or even if someone forgot to complete a field, the result window can show your banner.
Messages will show from senders firstname@lastname.com
