We are owners of a .com directorydomain aimed for the european union(eu) market.
We prefer present our question in the example below.
There's a pub situated in Hamburg, Germany, EU
The pub target is citizens in the city of Hamburg and the owner want submit their websitelink on our directory at the suitable category for pubs and for country of Germany and city of Hamburg.
Is that possible to offer that feature?

You could have a structure like this:
Germany/Hamburg/Entertainment/Pubs/

Thanks for your reply
There are 27 contries in the EU and aprox at least 100-500 cities in every country + categories and subcats for each country and each city in every country.
There is a lot of work that has to be done and don't thingk that someone has the energy.
There has to be ather ways or modulesmodules

Yea, if you have a database of cities and countries we could help you get the data added to phpLD. This is a job for a database engineer, not a data entry person.

Here's an idea
1.Instead of prebuilding countries and/or cities within countries, let the advertisers, when they add their links, in the form, like "category" and "subcategory" also put in formfields "country" and "city", the name of the target country and the name of the target city.
With this method, the advertisers builds the country- and city structur for the directory owner.
2. Frontend
At the top of every page, give directoryvisitors possibilities to choose a country and, optional, within country a city.
With this features you should have a strong competitive directory software
that manages both languages and country-/citywise advertising

We've done this already to a limited extent on the regional directory script. There is also the capacity to modify phpLD by adding new fields as you mention.
