Hey,
Some of my listings seem to be missing when you view the categories.
They are still showing up in searches and the details are there, in the admin panel they are set to active so I'm not sure why they don't show.
Here is an example:
http://www.alldotnet.com/details.php?id=13778
It should be in http://www.alldotnet.com/Health_and_Fitness/Disease_Diagnoses/
Anyone know what's going wrong?
Thanks

I have not had or seen a problem like this, but looking at your directory, I do see what you are talking about. Maybe I should take a clsoer look at my own.

I also notice you have removed the link back to phpld. Was this something that you arranged with David for this site and your other directory alivedirectory.com?
Maybe that is why you are not getting the support you want.

Hmmm I don't know why theres no link to PHPLD, even if I could, I wouldn't remove it ;)
My designer might have just forgot to include it, I think he was doing the templates from scratch.
Sticking that back in :)
Alivedirectory isn't mine :)

Still having this problem, anyone know whats wrong?
John, I just wanted to let you know that there is a syntax error somewhere on your page (js related). Don't know exactly where, but it's there.

Thanks a lot.
Do you think that could be causing the problem?
I'm not a coder at all so I will get someone to take a look at it for me.
Thanks :)

possible, but it appears to be javascript related.
the error was claimed to be around line:74 character:84
but you know how browser reporting goes. (it's garbage haha)
I say give that a try and see how it goes. always baby steps to resolution ;)

Hi there, I looked at your site for you and there does appear to be syntax errors on the links pages. I had someone got quite throroughly through your site and the strange thing was that some of your pages come clean of errors. Your submit page is error free for example. Why not try Rob's (anon)'s theory that it might be java related? Take the Google ads down temporarily and use a bare bones version of the script with your template. If you eliminate the errors with a bare bones version of phplinkd then you can add on bit by bit.. I know this is the long way around it and hope it doesn't cost you too much lost time, but sometimes we have to sacrifice for the longer term.
Hope you fix it anyway.

I think i see the prob: for(i=0; i<a.length;i++){ <--missing a few of those. (try using code above and see)
just got back to the pc, so my eyes are a bit buggy. i hope this is the prob.

Hey,
Thanks for helping out :)
I tried that code but it doesn't work, I'm getting this error:
Fatal error: Smarty error: [in main.tpl line 280]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: if(a[i].id!='') { a[i].onclick=count_link; functioncount_link(){i=newImage(); i.src=root+'/cl.php?id='+this.id; (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 436) in /home/dotnet/public_html/libs/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1088
Thanks
John
I do see that the code isn't on the page no longer and there is no error anymore.
try removing the //<![CDATA[ & //]]>

The sites still aren't showing up in the listings though.
There seems to be a lot missing..I don't think its to do with that javacript code.
Going to try doing what you said but still have the problem with listings not all showing up.
Here is my mail.tpl:
Content visible to registered users only.
ok, give me some time later on (hope you don't mind waiting) and i'll look into this for you, and see if i can come up with some leads.
i'm pretty deep into my directroy at the moment.

i'm probably going to go over it again sometime today.
Rob
try looking into this code:
Content visible to registered users only.
not sure how you have it setup, but there i don't see the 'rate' on the one that works: http://www.alldotnet.com/Health_and_Fitness/Disease_Diagnoses/
