Featured Links on Homepage with Thumbshots

Thinking about purchasing the script - is it possible to have 1 or 2 featured links shown on the main page, with thumbshots

Yes it is possible, it would take probably 10minutes to someone to write a mod for you, very easy.
There is a private supporters forum for phpLD 3, make sure you join it and then remind me of this. I'll probably help you.

OK - One last question, is it possible to mod the directory so that when a link is clicked on from the category (or sub-category) it will bring up a page with additional details about the site (for example a longer detailed description) as oppose to clicking though to the site immediately.

Yes, by default there is a details page link. If you want a longer description this is possible too, but will involve a little modification, so please do join the supporters forum also.

this is easily done....would you want the site's title to link to your detail page?
you will need to do a bit of editing to the link.tpl but not much...just remove the URL and then make the title linkable and pointing to your detail page
